Hope Nicole Schumacker
I’m Hope—an Atlanta-based commercial photographer and videographer with a passion for creating vibrant, story-driven visuals that connect and inspire.
I’m your creative thinker, hype woman, and the one behind the camera, helping you feel confident, at ease, and excited to show up as your best self. My work is all about connection—getting to know who you are, what lights you up, and how we can bring that to life through bold, vibrant imagery! No matter what we’re creating, I’m here to help you tell your story in a way that’s authentic to you and connects deeply with your audience.
In addition to my freelance work, I’m a Production Assistant at Weezie! Working within an in-house creative team has sharpened my eye for brand storytelling, deepened my understanding of production, and expanded my creative strategy skills. I enjoy moving between both spaces, as it allows me to continue growing and elevating my craft!
I earned my BFA in Photography with a minor in Art from Black Hills State University in Spearfish, SD. I’m currently a member and the Director of the Atlanta chapter of the American Photographic Artists, as well as a part of Focus on Women—an organization dedicated to empowering female-identifying professionals in commercial photography.
Fun fact: I grew up in a small town in North Dakota and have had a camera in my hand since I was six. Storytelling through the lens has fascinated me for as long as I can remember, and I feel incredibly lucky to have it as my career. When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll find me exploring new foods, working out, or traveling. And if you ever want to chat about planners or daily routines, I could go on for hours!

Here’s how it all comes together!
Discovery call
We’ll talk through your goals, what you’re envisioning, and project needs while making sure we are a good fit! This could be a Zoom, phone call, or emails back and forth, whatever feels best for you!
Book your project
Once you are ready to move forward, you will receive a contract and invoice to secure your date!
planning & pre-production
After your project is booked, we will have a pre-production call to talk through everything your shoot might need—shot list, location, wardrobe, hair and makeup, walkthroughs, and more! Every project is unique, so I tailor the process to fit your needs to ensure everything runs smoothly on shoot day.
shoot day
The fun part! With all our prep work in place, shoot day runs smoothly, feels easy, and leaves you feeling confident! I bring thoughtful direction, creativity, and calm problem solving so you can relax and enjoy as we bring your vision to life.
editing & delivery
Your deliverables and turnaround time will be outlined in your contract. After the shoot, I will edit your images and/or videos and deliver them in a beautiful, easy to use online gallery or Dropbox for motion. Then comes the best part, putting your new content to work! And when you are ready for more, I would love to create with you again!
